An opportunity has arisen for a manager required for the Financial Statements Team within Finance Business Services; the team is responsible for the preparation of the annual financial statements of approximately 260 subsidiaries and, following from this, the conversion of financial statements to iXBRL format for submission to HMRC.
Applicants should be proficient in the use of MS Office applications and be familiar with accounting disclosures (e.g. including IFRS knowledge). Training will be given on the use of iXBRL software as needed.
The successful candidate will be accountancy qualified, have previous experience/ awareness of the Companies Act accounts process (including financial statements preparation) and planning and supervision.
