Planning Engineer - My client, a large heavy engineering company are looking for a planning engineer to come on board to join one of their rail biased teams based out of Cambridge.The project is currently in design stage, so experience designing rail projects would be a definite advantage.
The project is based around rail infrastructure, so station builds and signalling experience would hold you in good stead.
The budget for the role is signed off so an offer can follow the interview stage almost immediately.
My client is working alongside Network Rail. Project/site work is due to commence Spring 2015.
- Duration - 9 months initially, extensions probable.
- Quick start for the right candidate.
- Looking for relevant experience within rail, civils and construction industries.
- My client is using P6 to plan the project/designs so relevant, in depth and proven experience working with Primavera is essential.
- Programmes will be cost loaded and resource loaded so previous experience of those skills is also required.
- Proven track record from previous relevant projects.
- The ideal candidate will need to have a strong background within planning and come from a hands on background.
- Rates are flexible for the right candidate.
