I am currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineering position with a leading medical device company based in their Tipperary facility. You will be working within the operations team to maximise efficiency within the production area. You will have unlimited access to resources to accomplish your tasks and will be part of what is one of Irelands most innovative and successful medical device companies.Your core duties will include:
- Initiation and completion for technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes.
- Analyse and solve problems with production using engineering principles, theories and concepts.
- Be aware of and implement existing, novel and innovative approaches and technologies in the solving of line issues.
- Leadership of projects and constant development of knowledge to become a leader within the company.
- Demonstrate knowledge of core business needs and incorporate this knowledge into task completion.
- You will establish an internal and external network of resources and will be involved in the selection and training of new engineers and employees.
- You will be given leadership o f project teams and be required to determine goals and objectives for projects.
- You will also be required to represent the company to both internal and external customers and serve as a consultant for engineering and scientific input into significant matters.
- You may be required to participate in validation activities such as protocol and report writing.
Experience/Qualifications Required:
Degree in Engineering.
3+ years experience would be preferable but is not essential.
Strong technical engineering knowledge and knowledge of business unit functions.
Experience working in a regulated environment would be preferable.
Personal: Experience working in a large multinational would be ideal.
