The role:

We have a contract opportunity for an experienced EDRMS Architect with an enterprise scale government agency.

This role will see you working with business experts and ICT staff to advise on the strategic vision for the agency's EDRMS, and evaluating how current practices can be improved.

This role would be for an initial period of 6 months with an additional 6 month extension.

Duties will include:

  • Perform analysis on existing data holdings and develop strategies which describe future state usage of an EDRMS capability
  • Review and develop strategies to utilise a EDRMS with current records and processes
  • Work with a Solutions Architect to develop a Business and Information Data Architecture.
  • Provide vendor independent advice on EDRMS strategy, EDRMS framework and project planning of an enterprise EDRMS capability.
  • Work with business areas to understand and prioritise EDRMS data and information requirements for enhanced business decision-making capability

This role requires a comprehensive knowledge of the strategic EDRMS environment (ideally with exposure to a range of tools eg. TRIM, PDMS, Documentum, SharePoint, Objective), and the ability apply this to a new environment.

You will be able to use your very strong communication skills to build relationships with technical and non-technical staff in order to create the required efficiencies and process improvements.

Skills required:

  • Well-developed analytical and conceptual skills;
  • Self-motivated, able to use initiative, innovative and a strong commitment to achieve business objectives
  • Real-world experience in how business can realise benefits from an effective and efficient EDRMS capability;
  • Preferred experience with TOGAF 9.1, ArchiMate 2.0 and Sparx Enterprise Architect

Other requirements:

  • Formal tertiary IT qualifications
  • An NV1 Security clearance
  • Australian citizenship

This role requires extensive EDRMS experience but would be the perfect opportunity for a strong practitioner to move into a more strategic direction.

An NV1 clearance is required to be considered for this role
