Acute Commissioning Manager - 3 month contractMy client - an NHS organisation based in the South of England are looking for an interim Commissioning Manager at band 7 for an initial 3 month contract focusing on acute contracts.
The main duties of the role are:
- Picking up queries from providers & commissioners & resolving in a timely manner
- Dealing with provider schedules
- Overseeing the monthly acute contract processes
- Assisting on the negotiation of monthly contracts
- Build relationships quickly with commissioners & providers
Requirements:
- Experience of managing monthly NHS contract processes
- Proven provider to provider relationships skills
- Slight negotiation skills required
- Acute contract experience is essential
- Bids & tenders or service re-design would be a bonus but not essential
