Green Park is partnering with a renowned global Private Equity firm with the establishment of one of their new propositions - the creation of a new high street retailer, with a circa of 25 to 75 stores within apparel.
The Interim Assignment
We require an established, hands on SME Finance Director who has a proven career within retail, preferably high street apparel. The Interim Finance Director will be joining a newly established team who have been put in place by the global Private Equity firm with the intention of creating a new apparel brand to hit the British high-street. This role will be incredibly hands on and will require your assistance in the creation of a new company and new retail stores. This role will cover the end to end finance from statutory to commercial, along with the creation of a new finance team and systems.
The Interim Manager
The successful Interim Finance Director will need to be dedicated and display similar experience in an incredibly hands on position in business's with a circa £50 to £150 million per year turnover. Ideally you will have exposure of Private Equity and the pressures that come with this. You will be a smart, creative, compelling and driven. You will not be afraid to lead others past their comfort zone(s) and be able to create a sense of urgency. You must have proven retail experience and applications without this background unfortunately cannot be progressed to the next stage.
