Next Ventures is looking for a SAP Basis consultant for one of our clients in Brussels.
Job Profile:
- Strong hands-on implementation and support experience working with SAP ERP 6.0, SAP BI 7.3, PI 7.3 & Portals 7.3, SRM and Solution Manager 7.1 technology in a AIX-DB2 environment.
- SAP Netweaver administration and technical core tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, applying Support Packages, patches and fixes, installation of add-on software components, workload analysis, etc.
- Ensure change control is effectively implemented for all changes - including risk management and back out planning.
- Identify needed system corrections and enhancements and recommend changes. Apply advanced system management principles, concepts and techniques.
- Provide subject matter expertise in technical and process discussions with extensive knowledge transfer to junior team members.
- Preparation of reports, justification and support documentation.
- Take on call duty (+/- 1 week/month) 24/7 support availability.
