CCIE Network Consultant:My client is a leading Managed Services Provider in Unified Communication.
We are looking for a CCIE Network Consultant or CCIE Data Centre Consultant.
Responsibilities:
- Technical design authority for customer designs
- Customer designs, consultation and pre sales
- Responses to tender / bid documents
- Business plans to support training and investment in new capabilities
- Business improvement
- Line management of a consultation team
- Mentoring and coaching of direct reports and non-direct reports
- Implementation of and collaboration on best practice for training
- Productisation of bespoke activity so the field engineering team can take on more work
- Providing 3rd line support for serious incidents
- To liaise with manufacturers for technical updates and support for the design process
- Have detailed awareness of vendor commercial programs, promotions and discounts in order to ensure that any solution utilises the best possible pricing
Essential Skils:
- Technical Presales Support and Technical Architecture in a competitive environment and winning major bids
- Knowledge of and practical experience in Cisco software and hardware to CCNP or 10+ years working experience
- Process design skills
- Working knowledge of IT and networking security
- Working knowledge and ideally certification in other vendors offerings such as Juniper / HP / Dell / Extreme/ Aruba Networking
Desireable:
- Enterprise storage solutions such as NetApp and EMCVNX
- Knowledge of UNIX / Linux / Windows Operating Systems administration
- Technically and commercially aware of the market and have a full understanding of the technical, business and commercial propositions on offer
- Knowledge of Sales/Operational processes
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Good time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and diligence
- Excellent written skills and the ability to produce highly detailed and polished customer facing documentation
- Excellent oral and presentation skills with the ability to articulate a message to a mixed audience, from managerial/strategic personnel to technical personnel
