You will
  • Be responsible for the design of mechanical solution for a customer
  • Take full ownership and management of product & design lifecycle
  • Run tests: -Cycle Testing


-User Testing
- Designing/ Building Test Rigs
- Vibration Testing
- Random Testing
  • Write product specification and reports on other products
  • Re-design and modify existing products to improve product, cost and quality.

They are the main quarries and mining equipment suppliers around the world. Their products are operating both on the surface and underground in the mining industry. With their products, underground mining risks have reduced drastically.

Desired Skills
  • BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering discipline or similar.
  • Mechanical Design experience from concept through to commercialisation
  • 2D/3D skills
  • FEA & Stress analysis calculations
  • Knowledge of material selection
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics/thermo-fluids
  • Experience of designing valves, meter, actuators, hydraulics, pneumatics, high pressure systems
  • Knowledge of pressure equipment directive (PED)
