Description
I'm looking for a WebSphere Commerce Developer for a major retail company based in the Home counties.As a WebSphere Commerce Developer you will be involved in the full development lifecycle working on the client's WebSphere Commerce Platform.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 2 years commercial IBM WebSphere Commerce experience
- Relevant usage of WCS out of the Box features, components and assets
- Experience with version 6 / 7 of WebSphere Commerce Enterprise
- Strong development background in Java/J2EE
- Exposure to Packaging, Deployment & release control
- Experience in Order Management Subsystem - Shopping Cart, Order Capture, Order fulfilment, inventory processing
- Solid understanding and experience on XML, XML Schema, Web Services (Rest and SOAP based).
- Experience with JSTL, AJAX Java and HTML
- Test Driven Development
- Working within a Lean Agile delivery team (Scrum, XP or Kanban)
- Integrating components such as Payment, Tagging, Recommendations, Reviews etc
- Installing and configuring WebSphere Commerce 6 / 7 in cluster and production ready 4 tiers (web, application, database, search)
