Description
Glocomms is currently recruiting for a DevOps Cloud Engineer, for one of the major
Telecommunications provider based in Ireland.
This is a minimum 6 Month contract and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. The role will involve design, build test and document proof of concepts, reference and production solutions to meet the technical, commercial and operational needs of customers.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Senior Linux System Administrator with some software development skills. Strong customer service and production support experience
- Linux administration, Perl, python, Shell or other Scripting languages, Apache
- Understanding of IP-based networking, routing, Firewalls, SSH, DNS, DHCP, SSL, NFS, NTP
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Capable of writing usable technical documentation
- Documenting and following recurring procedures
- Training internal customers in complex topics
Benefical skills:
- Experience in JAVA, Oracle, MySQL
- AWS
