I am excited to advertise for an Interim Senior Contracts Manager for an NHS Organisation in North Yorkshire. My client is offering the Senior Acute Contracts Position on a 12 Month basis. This is a great opportunity for a contractor to lead within NHS Contracts.Key duties of the Interim Senior Contracts Manager:
- To lead the overall management of a portfolio of contracts with acute secondary care and community providers. To work with our Partnership Commissioning Unit and our mental health providers.
- Be responsible for leading the negotiation and agreement, monitoring, review and reporting performance against contracted levels of finance and activity as well as key performance indicators and quality measures.
- To be the nominated contract lead, working closely with colleagues in the CCG, CSU, Local Authority and partner organisations.
- Responsible for providing leadership, direction and personal development of the Planned Care and Performance Manager and Assistant Finance and Commissioning Manager.
- Develop and manage key projects in the CCGS planned care work streams, delivering our strategic objectives and QIPP plans
The key competencies I require are:
- Demonstrable ability to develop and maintain a robust and professional approach to contract management through formal Contract Management Board and sub group arrangements and ensuring all appropriate contract levers are utilised.
- Leadership skills to develop, manage and deliver key projects to support the team's aims and objectives including strategic reviews, service development and improvement and organisational development projects in HRWCCG.
- Excellent technical contracting and PbR experience
- Well developed analytical skills and in particular experience of conducting detailed contract performance analysis and analysis and management of QIPP performance
- Experience of current NHS performance regime and performance management of acute and community providers
- Knowledge to provide management support and leadership to team finance support.
