For our client we are looking for a Functional Support Analyst.
Description
The client is faced with new global regulatory standards on bank capital adequacy and liquidity (e.g. Basel III). In order to comply with these new standards Market Risk Management, Finance, Bank Treasury, together with individual business lines, have launched an initiative to enhance their Asset & Liability Management (ALM) capabilities through a group wide implementation of a new ALM tool (QRM). As part of this roll-out a new Business Application Support (BAS) team has been set up to provide high standard support for all users group wide.
We are looking for a proven Functional Support Analyst with hands on mentality to complement the ALM BAS team.
We are looking for somebody with strong communicative skills and who is capable of being a sparring partner for the business as well as for IT.
Candidate must be highly analytical with demonstrated experience in critical thinking and problem solving. The ideal candidate has an analytical background and has experience in a functional support role. The role consists of: helping to further improve the operating model and perform change management on the business configuration items in the tool.
Personal profile:
- Manage user expectations, align the various user groups.
- Ability to translate requirements of business partners into business configuration in QRM.
- Perform and coordinate UAT and regression tests
- Team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Dutch.
- Analytical mind-set.
- Experience with QRM is preferred
- Experience with ALM, Matched Funding, Liquidity Risk Management is preferred
- Proficient user of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, etc.) is required
- Experience with implementing/running (risk) systems within a banking environment is a big pre.
- Technical knowledge is preferred (MS SQL Server)
- Provide functional support for application users world wide
- Experience with incident and change management and incident management tools (HPSC preferred)
- Disciplined way of working
