Summary:
Responsible for managing data conversion. This will include liaising and negotiating with external teams (data capture companies, typesetters etc), data analysis and conversion instruction creation. In addition, the role will involve co-ordinating of data QA to ensure the correct mark up of data.
Education/Experience:
University degree or equivalent education/experience. Previous experience preferred.
Skills:
Excellent IT skills and technological understanding of systems and applications. XML, XSLT and VBA. Editing or relevant publishing experience. Problem Solving. Excellent all round communication skills. Strong industry knowledge.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting with the implementation of new systems and applications. Analytical support of our Content Management Systems and associated editorial tools and applications. Content error resolution. Providing technical and procedural guidance to our Editorial and Production teams. System administration.
