SAP Data Migration Expert - Singapore
Excellent opportunity for a SAP Data Migration Expert to join a leading global firm for a global template rollout - 6 - 12 months contract - Excellent rates available - Singapore
You will Act as the subject matter expert of the SAP Data Migration solution;
*Prepare content for and run Blueprint workshops/Prepare content for/run other workshops as required
*Collaboratively work with business teams to gather requirements and design for localisations, interfaces and critical business gaps delivering required Blueprints; Responsible for ensuring the quality of required functional specifications
*Collaboratively work as part of the project team and other SAP teams to ensure solutions are delivered to meet business requirements
*Provide input regarding the SAP solution organisation/process impacts
*Responsible for providing estimates to the project manager for identified changes (managed via the change control process)
*Complete all other required project deliverables
*Collaboratively work with testing team to ensure functional issues are addressed in a timely manner
*Undertake a phase of integration testing
*Collaboratively work with project team in relation to preparation of project plan, cutover tasks and deployment activities
*Efficiently and effectively resolve incidents and problems
*Respond to requests from business with regards to template changes and/or enhancements
*Collaborate with local countries to ensure requirements documentation regarding changes and/or enhancements is adequate
*Collaborate with the Global Development team to identify solutions/work arounds that could be implemented to address business requirements
*Collaborate with local countries to implement approved changes and/or enhancements, which includes completing relevant documentation and supporting testing efforts
*Ensure SAP technical knowledge is current to enable Consultant to support ongoing technical roadmap and architectural requirements for the global template within the Asia-Pacific region
*Provide ongoing input and guidance into the global template to support evolving Asia-Pacific regional needs
*Collaborate with the Global team to manage the roadmap.
SAP Data Migration Expert should demonstrate the following:
*Expert knowledge of SAP Data Migration
*Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
*Ability to take end to end responsibility for initial design and related documentation both at a functional and business level, gaining formal approval and working with development teams
*Ability to influence stakeholders at various levels to achieve an outcome within the constraints of implementing a SAP standard template
*Maturity in personal skills and the practical application SAP methodologies
*Strong consulting experience in the SAP space, at least 4 years plus SAP experience in support and project environments
*Solid process and hands on expertise in implementing SAP in an integrated environment
*Preferable experience in implementing SAP template solutions
Must be prepared to travel 20 of time to Asia Pacific, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, China, Thailand, Vietnam.
