Description
Candle are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect for a long term contract based on the North Shore.
The organisation are looking to move from in-house developed tools and database systems to third party products and services and require this resource to look at strategic architectural development and execution initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in mixed environments with experience in some of the following areas; data capture, transformation and systems integrity, Business Intelligence (BI) applications, CRM, geospatial solutions, case management and workflow.
Experience working in a reputable, large scale, high volume and robust environment is essential and financial sector delivery is preferred.
The current software environment includes Java, .NET, C#, Oracle, OBIEE, Agile, Waterfall.
The enterprise requires an energetic and enthusiastic resource with excellent interpersonal skills. Strong influencing and negotiating skills are of course mandatory.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Define and document the Architecture to satisfy the organisation's short term requirements at the same time providing a sound Enterprise Architecture platform which is both scalable and flexible to support future needs
- Lead a team responsible for architectural design and interface definitions
- Facilitate and document outcomes from a design committee to review and endorse both tactical and strategic IT initiatives
- Participate in change programs to ensure that the IT requirements are properly defined, documented, prioritised and agreed
