Description
System Dynamics have an urgent requirement for an Oracle BI Specialist to work on our client based project team in Dublin city centre for an initial 6 months.
Role:
The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for strategically designing and implementing the Oracle OBIEE+ software solution, including its integration with various databases, spreadsheets and data warehouse.
They will be expected to carry out the following tasks/duties identified below.
- Gather and analyse project requirements from a range of stakeholders
- Model and implement a corporate OBIEE+ solution, accessing various data sources allowing for ad-hoc query and report generation and execution, dashboard creation and customisation
- Generate and maintain all ETL processes utilising OWB
- OBIEE Server Administrator
- Build an identified report requirement
- Mentor staff, facilitate a required skills transfer programme along with end user training
- Adhere to Department developer standards
- In conclusion, the candidate/s will participate in the full life cycle of the client's BI implementation including Discovery, Design, Build and Configuration, Testing, Migration and Transition.

- Previous experience of using Oracle Warehouse Builder ETL toolset
- High quality OBIEE+ repository design skills
- High quality data and dimension modelling skills
- OBIEE+ Server Administration skills
- High quality Metadata/Semantic layer design skills
- Strong OBIEE+ development skills (Administration, Requests and Dashboards)
- Demonstrated BI Analysis skills
- Demonstrated BI Agent skills
- Demonstrated BI Publisher skills
- Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Demonstrated Oracle/SQL database tuning skills,
- SQL and PL*SQL proficiency
- Problem solving and solution provision skills
- Excellent written, oral communication skills and strong presentation and interpersonal skills
