Glocomms is currently recruiting for a Sofware Developer for a cutting edge technology organisation based in Belgium (Hasselt). This is a minimum 6 Month contract and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.The ideal candidate will be a Software Developer looking to increase their exposure to the following:
Job Description:
- Implementation & maintenance test-engine-server
- Implementation & maintenance test-management-server
- Set-up automated testing and deployment thereof
- Support Development of Test Cases with these
- Create and maintain online technical documentation, installation and user manuals
- Issue Management and Bug and tracking
Required:
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- C++ development MSVC, template classes, Lambda expressions
- Java development NetBeans IDE
- Web development: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular
- Familiar with at least one Scripting language (Python, LUA or similar
Beneficial:
- Experience with CUDA programming (NVidia SDK)
- Experience with multimedia encoding, decoding and encryption (DRM) techniques
- Experience with programming language syntax parsers or compiler techniques
- Experience with DirectShow decoder and filters for handling Audio/Video data
- Knowledge of Digital Video Broadcasting Standards (DVB-T/C/S; Service Information)
- Knowledge of MPEG Transport Streams
- Knowledge of IPTV, Video-on-Demand or HbbTV
