For one of our clients we are, on regular basis, looking for a Embedded Software Engineer.
Job Mission
Work with hardware and software suppliers to introduce new VxWorks based processor modules for TWINSCAN sub-systems.
Job Description:
Work with suppliers to select and introduce new multi-core Embedded processor boards for our sub-systems. Help with VxWorks BSP validation and integration within various software stacks. Be able to debug and diagnose network, memory and/or peripheral related BSP issues. Select and coordinate/support roll-out of new development environment for new BSP.
Education:
- Bachelor or master degree electronics or technical software
Experience:
- Minimal 5 years of relevant experience
Must have experience:
- Wind River VxWorks
- C and Scripting: Python/Perl/Shell
- BSP porting experience,
- OS Abstraction layers.
Nice to have experience:
- WindRiver Linux, PowerPC,
- Real Time Embedded development
- VME, PCI, JTAG-ICE
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
