- OSS Software Developer (PL/SQL or Comptel)
- Long term contract Melbourne CBD
Within this position, you will design, implement and test BSS/OSS elements to meet the Functional and Non-Functional Requirements of the overall OSS/BSS customer solution. You will work in a team of engineers under the direction of a Technical Project Manager to build BSS/OSS solutions that meet the Service Provider's business requirements. You will be expected to have strong PL/SQL or Comptel skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed requirements analysis for BSS/OSS Solutions. Producing Solution Design Specifications, Use Cases and High-Level Designs.
- Detailed design of the BSS/OSS solution in accordance with the agreed architecture and design principles.
- Implementation and Unit testing of BSS/OSS code.
- Requirements, design and code reviews.
- Apply strong technical expertise and experience to problem solving in the BSS/OSS domain.
Must have skills
- Excellent Oracle skills, Database design, SQL and PL/SQL is essential
- Strong OSS Telco background
- Comptel knowledge/experience will be highly regarded.
- Confident oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in software architecture design and design patterns
- Good knowledge of UNIX and Linux operating systems
- Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns and/or Enterprise Integration Patterns, etc.
