Our client, a major Financial Services company, is looking for a qualified Accountant for a 6 month contract based in Fareham, Hampshire. We require the services of an experienced Consultant/Qualified Insurance Accountant with an management background that can come in and hit the ground running. With strong Stakeholder management/business partnering experience. Good insurance experience with knowledge of insurance products and insurance accounting experience. Hold an expenses background.
Key Specialist Skills:
Excellent Insurance management experience
Excellent Insurance accounting
Excellent understanding of General insurance business
Stakeholder management/business partnering experience
Knowledge of financial systems & business platforms (SAP an advantage).
Manage SOX requirements and compliance for UK non-life
A high degree of computer literacy (preferably SAP/TM1 experience) and ideally an advanced knowledge of Excel
