Our client, a global leading microelectronics organisation, is looking for a Senior Industrial Project Manager to work on a long term contract basis within their manufacturing division. They are looking for a suitable candidate to join ASAP with the position based in the Netherlands.

Job Responsibilities
• The Senior Industrial Project Manager is responsible for projects, developing and sustaining the industrial production flows for the RF products.
• You will specify, plan, implement and qualify a new industrial flow.
• Sustaining an industrial flow is in the context of an industrial improvement program and includes transfer projects; cost-down or waste reduction projects; supply-chain projects; yield improvement projects and/or volume capacity projects.
• Review manufacturing changes (ECN, qualification plans, waivers, 8D’s, risk-assessments, non-conformances).
• Lead or participate in problem solving teams (manufacturing problems, customer complaints)
• Lead or participate in waste reduction projects.
• Initiate and drive cost, efficiency, technology & quality improvement projects and transfers
• Organisation of preparation, execution, evaluation and follow up actions of samples series and pilot runs at factories and subcontractors.
• Transfer of product and production know-how to production sites.
• Provide input to Business Roadmap and Industrial Strategy (processes, packages, locations etc.).
• Participate in technology teams (new package concepts, design rules etc.).
• Maintain and extend knowledge on industrial solutions internally (factory visits, contacts to business peers, package innovation) and externally (literature study, competitor tracking, conferences).

Technical Requirement
• Knowledge and understanding of semi-conductor production processes (wafer processing, packages, assembly, testing and packing).
• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary and multi-site teams of technical professionals.
• Bachelor’s or University degree in technical discipline (preferably in electronics).
• Solid knowledge of project management, including:
o Requirement elicitation, specification and verification
o Risk assessment and responding to risks
o Stakeholder management
o Team building
o Planning and scheduling
o Earned value techniques
• Knowledge of problem solving techniques 8D, DMAIC, 5xWhy etc.
• LEAN waste reduction.
• PMI certified or similar project management methodology certificate would be ideal.
• Directing and motivating multi-site and cross-functional teams (test engineers, SLA engineers, package engineers, product engineers, demand manager, etc.).
• Coaching skills.
• Negotiating skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
• Cultural awareness.
