Role: Contract Senior Software Test & Support Engineer
Location: Cork, Ireland
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months +
My client, a highly successful development house based in Cork, Republic of Ireland are looking for a Senior Software Test & Support Engineer to start a 6 month contract ASAP based on-site. You will be working closely with both the software development teams and management to ensure that the company continues to deliver high quality software and maintains the operation of existing production systems.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience;
- Minimum 6 Years' experience System-Testing ideally with majority of it focusing on web based testing
- Regression, Integration and system level test execution
- Experience writing test plans and test procedures
- Automation Testing and tools such as Visual Studio Team System (test Edition), HP Quick test, Selenium etc.
- Defect Tracking tools
Nice to have:
- Knowledge on SQL database
Personal:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in different teams and with different technologies with an ability to test across multiple projects
