Function Description.
Member of the project team responsible for design, build and deployment of the new Citrix desktop solution in a High Available Datacentre (HA DC)
Function Request.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Handover to IT department for operation (FIOH)
- Setup, testing, deployment of new Citrix components XenApp, XenDesktop, web interface, PVS, netscaler, monitoring
- Configuration changes in HA Citrix landscape
- Testing of deployment in Acceptance
- Performance tuning, monitoring
- Failover testing
- UAT preparation and execution
- Preparation of migration of existing applications to Production
- Go live runbook execution
- Documentation
- Handover to IT department for operation (FIOH)
- Post go live support
Education and proven knowledge/experience:
- IT education at academic level or equivalent
- Experience level >5 years relevant technical experience
- Very deep technical knowledge of and experience with Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp is mandatory
- Knowledge of AppSense is an asset
- Experience with migration projects
- Performance tuning experience
- Strong communicator and literate
- Fluent in English language
- Team player.
