Software test, Embedded, Windows, QA, WirelessI am currently looking for two software test engineers to work on a new and exciting project. You will be tasked to test both embedded software and PC based software.
Location: Oxfordshire
Job Type: 6 Months
Duration: 6 months
Rates: £15-£20 p/h
You will join a small engineering team and work on the full lifecycle testing of this device. The company are currently going through a large growth stage and therefore are ramping up the heads in the engineering department.
You will be testing both embedded software and supporting PC based software on a SQL database. The system is a wireless based system so any previous experience in this area would be highly advantageous.
Your role will be to set up and maintain test environments, create test documentation and search for bugs.
Key Skills:
- Embedded and applications based testing
- QA methodology and tools
- Exploratory testing
Desirable Skills:
- Windows server environment
- SQL databases
- Wireless communications technology
- Any experience in safety critical environments (Medical, automotive, aerospace)
