My financial Services client are looking to add to the European compliment of the Group's global IT Audit function. Based in the South East the ideal candidate will ideally have between 8 - 10 years of Big 4 or Internal IT Audit experience preferably within a financial services environment. Our client have a particular interest in candidates coming from the mortgaging and / or banking sectors.
Successful candidates will have a track record of leading, managing, developing and growing audit functions with direct line management responsibilities. Relevant candidates will be CISA or CISSP qualified.
Time, stakeholder and portfolio management skills will be essential as the appropriate IT Audit Manager will be expected to act as the face of the European IT audit offering; interacting with key Senior Stakeholders, helping to construct, deliver and manage the team's annual IT audit plan, strategy and approach.
Specific technical skills required include an in depth background in SAP risk and control, data analytics experience with the use of Computer Assisted Auditing Tool (CAATs) ACL. Successful IT Audit applicants will also require, Windows, Unix Oracle and SQL audit experience
The opportunity will offer the successful IT Audit Manager the chance to; travel across Europe and South America., lead and grow a regional IT Audit function, gain exposure to global Senior Management and develop within a supportive environment.
This role is ideal for candidates who are keen to move into the financial services without having to work in Canary Wharf or in the heart of the City's financial district
The salary on offer is extremely competitive and is above the market average for this grading.
