My client, a large central government agency are looking to recruit based on a large piece of in-sourcing work. My clients project transition services have been brought in house from a third party and the environment manager will be an integral part of making sure the new live environments will be more efficient and save the end client money.
The environment manager will be responsible for setting up new IT environments in order to test the in sourced applications and infrastructure services that will be coming back onto the clients site.
The environment manager will predominantly be setting up new large test environments across both applications and infrastructure covering both hardware and software. The environment manager will be responsible for supplier management, stakeholder management and saving costs for the and client.

It is highly desirable if you have ISEB/Prince 2/PMP or similar and have worked in complex programme driven environments
