Sun Solaris Administrator with Sun Solaris Clustering/Solaris virtualisation and Oracle DBA skills - Brussels, Belgium - English speaking

One of our blue chip clients is urgently looking for a Sun Solaris Administrator/Consultant with Sun Solaris Clustering/Solaris virtualisation and Oracle DBA skills
Your responsibilities will be to
- Participate in the understanding of the functional requirements for each project, transforming them into technical solutions.
- Participate in the design, implementation and deployment of the proposed solutions. This includes writing installation and configuration guides for the operational group.
- Participate in the maintenance and creation of automated integration and regression tests
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of production issues
- Provide technical assistance to other colleagues and assist in resolving problems reported by less senior team members.
Experience
5+ years of experience in a similar position in a comparable technical environment.
Professional knowledge and expertise
- The candidate should have at least a 5 years proven track record working in Unix environments (integrating different technologies, including monitoring tools)
- Having experience with Java developments is also an asset
Essential Technical skills
- Exposure to Oracle Solaris, including:
- Administration knowledge of Sun Solaris 10.
- Oracle cluster solutions
- Shell Scripting
- Logical domains
- ZFS
- Monitoring of applications
- Network protocols: TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/S
- Software development environments and tools: Configuration Management (ClearCase), Integrated Development Environment (Eclipse), Change Management.
Additional Technical skills (knowledge in the following domains is an additional asset)
- Oracle database (10.x and 11.x)
- Java JDK (version >= 6), GWT.
- Security technologies: PKI, HMAC, AES, SSL, HSM
