Senior Authorised Personnel Required!A number of roles are available for Senior Authorised Persons.
List of Senior Authorised Roles are below:
- UK Power Networks (UKPN)
- Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE)
- Western Power Distribution (WPD)
- Scottish Power (SPEN)
- Electricity North West (ENW)
- Northern Power Grid (NPG)
- Private Network SAPs
All of these roles will vary between 11kV and 400kV projects.
These roles represents a number of exciting opportunities within the Utilities & Electricity Sector for Senior Authorised Persons across the UK.
As an SAP you will be passionate about safety around high voltage substations and private network projects. You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver technical training and advice to less-experienced colleagues.
Successful candidates will be experienced Senior Authorised Persons on HV/EHV systems, with extensive operational experience on a diverse range of HV and LV systems, and accredited to the standards set by a UK licensed Distribution Network Operator.
In addition, you'll have extensive knowledge of the design, construction, commissioning and operation of electrical plant and equipment on all types of HV/EHV systems, including complex protection schemes from 11kV to 400kV and grading studies.
Rate of pay will vary from £/day depending on experience, voltages and type of project.
All contracts vary from 6-24 months.
