We are delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Network and Infrastructure AnalystReporting to the Network and Infrastructure manager, your primary role will be ensuring all internally and externally based infrastructure is maintained to an exceptional standard. You will provide in depth infrastructure support to all end users, the service desk team and suppliers, ensuring the network and infrastructure maintains a high level of availability and performance.
Key duties within this role will include;
*Provide infrastructure technical support on a day to day basis
*Evaluate, design, test, implement and maintain networking technologies
*Draft and publish network and system documents
*Develop and execute a variety of network and infrastructure maintenance plans
*Act as an escalation point and mentor for 1st line staff for infrastructure related queries
Key skills and attributes you will possess include;
*Experience previously gained in an IT Infrastructure Analyst role
*ITIL Foundation v3 Certificate
*Extensive knowledge of the following is required;
?Active Directory, DHCP, Group policy etc
?Microsoft Server Operating systems (2003 onwards)
?Microsoft Exchange (2010)
?Networking, topologies, routing, firewalls and protocols
*Previous experience and knowledge using the following will be an advantage;
?SQL technologies
?Microsoft NAV
?PCI compliance
?Solar winds service level monitoring
*Ability to work efficiently under pressure within tight deadlines
*Flexibility to work outside normal working hours dependant on the business needs.
