Database Developer - Oracle, SQL, Java - European Commission - Brussels
For one of our projects at the European Commission in Brussels we are urgently looking for a Database Developer.
Main Tasks:
- Participate to requirements analysis and prototyping.
- Data analysis, data modelling, database design and development.
- Design, implementation and maintenance of database layer, database components and database stored procedures.
- Writing of technical documentation.
- Design, implementation and maintenance of software components for web-based applications principally in Oracle, J2EE/Java, JavaScript, HTML.
- Integration between applications; database integration with applications.
- Participation in meetings with project teams.
Specific Expertise:
- Oracle and SQL.
- J2EE / JAVA development, architecture, frameworks, tools.
The next are considered assets:
- Java Script and AJAX frameworks
- XML. HTML5.
- RUP (Rational Unified Process) or similar.
- UML (Unified Modeling Language) or equivalent, case tools.
Languages:
Fluent in English and French is an asset
