Functional Tester Power Optimization/3 months/Brussels, Belgium
Functional Tester Power Optimization: urgently required for one of my clients.
In this role as a Functional Tester within the Power Optimization Program you:
- analyse the detailed technical functional requirements provided by the functional analyst.
- write and execute both technical functional test scenarios to validate solution prior demonstration to key users.
- write dedicated business test scenario to guide the key users in their tests phase.
- contribute to the definition of the end-to-end tests that business will execute to accept the final solution.
- collect the business feedback and clearly log the defects, prioritize them and follow up their resolution.
- define/adapt a set of sanity tests needed for each new release and script automated tests when possible in order to execute non-regressions tests.
- report on the functional coverage, the progress of the tests and related defects when applicable.
- are part of a team working in Agile/Scrum mode.
- are testing several applications part of the Power Optimization Program
Required skills:
- ISTQB certification (a plus)
- Strong experience in functional testing
- Test Methodologies,(V-Model,Test Levels)
- Analyzing Techniques
- Test Preparation (analys design)
- Test Execution
- HP Quality Center
- You can develop automated tests using Visual Studio 2010 testing tools - Coded UI (C#), Spec flow tools
- You have a good experience with Agile projects
