Senior Procurement Category Manager - Procurement I am currently looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to join my clients office based in Surrey
Duties & Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for this role are:
Develop category plans and BBR-wide agreements for area of responsibility following BBR process Ensure implementation of those agreements with minimal leakage. Agree saving targets for category with Head of procurement & Procurement Project Partners. Ensure delivery of category savings and track progress
Essential:
Procurement process (negotiation & category management) in a project environment
Construction/Rail Ability to manage both materials and Sub-contract procurement
Stakeholder management & understanding business needs
Good communication MCIPS/equivalent expected
Significant experience of procurement best practice and category management (including Supply market analysis & Should Cost' analysis)
Can apply principles in immature industry
Extensive negotiation experience in a complex category environment
Successful implementation of category plans that deliver high levels of savings, and which are delivered quickly
