Description
Graduate Bid Manager/Junior Bid Manager/Bid Coordinator required for a world leading Defence and Aerospace Company based out of Farnborough for a 9 month initial contract. Successful candidates will be responsible for organising bids to win new clients and contracts for the company.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Delivering proposals and bids within challenging timescales and budget which meet the customer requirements
* Helping to lead and influence Bid Teams from start to finish
* Deliver bids using the Life Cycle Management processes
* Working with internal technical engineering and project management resources to clarify requirements and prepare proposals
* Ensure all proposals are in accordance with internal governance and safety policies
* Conducting research and analysis into clients, projects and markets
Skills and competencies required
* Candidates must have a Recent Graduate Degree or 2/3 years experience in Bids or proposals coordination
* Strong Communication and leadership skills
* Good organisation and IT skills
Desirable Skills and competencies
* Good editorial skills
* Ability to improve chances of creating a winning proposal by working with technical and sales staff to determine key selling points
* Previous engineering experience or experience within a technology company or related degree
* Current SC Clearance
