Project Engineer - Aberdeen. £45,000 - £55,000Progressive GE is currently working with a very specialist service company in the recruitment of a Project Engineer based in South Aberdeen.
This company is one of only a handful of Aberdeen based clients that focus on this particular product line however their services are being utilized on a national scale.
Skill sets required:
- Proven track record of managing projects from cradle to grave
- Strong Mechanical Design experience particularly within the fire protection and detection industry
- Experience gained carrying out offshore survey work
- Experience of 3D modelling software
- Hydraulics experience
- Knowledge of structures
- Knowledge of piping engineering
- Experience working on both manufacturing and fabrication drawings
Day to day activities will also include collation of project plans and supporting sales department in the preparation of bids and tenders. Alongside this you will be checking drawings and work carried out by others and carrying out offshore site surveys.
