What are they key responsibilities in this Senior LTE Modem Firmware role?

-Implement optimized processing modules and scheduling.

-Define efficient software partitioning in RTOS environment.

-Provide module descriptions, reference code, software KPI (MCPS, ROM, RAM consumption).

-Be able to test & verify the implementation; and also develop verification test-cases in pre-silicon (virtual prototypes) and post- silicon (boards and testers) development phases

-Follow strict SW methodology for component platform integration (versioning and bug tracking).

-Work closely with our global FW, System Engineering & HW teams across the world and also with the In-House Verification/Field Test/IoT Teams and Test houses

What are the key requirements in this Senior LTE Modem Firmware role?

-4 or more years of experience Digital Signal Processing and Communications Engineering / real-time embedded SW design in C and C++ / implementation & test of Physical Layer(s) on 3GPP LTE & UMTS/GSM or other Wireless technologies

-Masters of Science Degree or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on Communications Engineering

-Good telecom signal processing algorithm understanding and implementation skills

-Good communication skills in English

-Working knowledge of SW engineering tools, e.g. UML, Klocwork, Clearcase,...

-Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

-Prior experience with Algorithmic parts of the LTE L1 firmware would be a plus

-Tools: Matlab, System-C or equivalent pre-silicon FW verification environment

-Knowledge in Java, Scripting languages, Makefiles, Assembler, Version Control Systems etc. would be a plus

-It would be an additional plus to have prior exposure to LTE Firmware & feature verification aspects including programming exposure for R&S CMW500 + Anritsu Tester
