.Net / C# / WPF Developer role - Lancashire - 6 Months - Circa £400 per dayAre you looking for a new .NET /C#/ WPF contract role?
Having recently expanded across the whole company, this client are looking to take on board an experienced .NET Developer, with WPF, to assist in heading up the project. With a growing presence in their market this is the first of many more projects moving forward.
The first project will entail working with .Net and C# based technologies with WPF to build a new web application that will enable the internal staff to calculate costing for stock, resource and pricing for services moving forward.
Role: .Net /C#/WPF Developer
Rate: Circa £400 per day
Location: Lancashire
You will:
- Hit the ground running
- Integrate with the existing .NET Development team
- Liaise with the IT Manager reporting on the progress of the project, in an Agile environment
- Ensure consistent and quality driven coding
- Be expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and communicate "out of the box ideas" to the team
- Have previous experience in the delivery of new systems and the maintenance of previous existing ones
- Have at least 3 years commercial experience
- Be able to work independently but also contribute to team meetings and project scrums
Duties:
- Contribute to regular daily scrums
- Create a healthy code base for the initial development of the project
- Deliver the full life cycle of the project
- Report regularly to senior management on the progress of the project

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company taking a heavy market share in their industry. The company have recently extended two past contractors, so there is a good scope for extension on this contract.
