Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Web Designer for a 1 year contract.
Individual will be primarily responsible for maintaining the consistency of brand standards - from marketing strategies through design and Front End development. The Designer works closely with U.I. Architect, Business Analysts and Developers to design and create engaging and user-friendly interfaces to database driven web experiences.
Candidate should have 3+ years of experience writing HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS as well as using the Adobe creative suite, in particular Photoshop (3+ year experience) and Balsamiq.
Qualifications:
- Original Web Design portfolio with - landing pages, icon design, forms, modals.
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Ability to organize information simply and elegantly.
- Interested in developing and enhancing product designs and user flows.
- Obsessed over pixel placement, color selection, and type styles.
- Knowledge of current design trends and understanding of image optimization.
- Collaborate and work seamlessly with a team of highly skilled designers and developers.
- A design degree or equivalent work experience.
- An understanding of HTML/CSS development (hands on experience a plus)
