Role: OSS Architect
Location: Oslo,Norway
Duration: 6 months
We are looking for an OSS architect with 15+ years of experience in providing Process, IT and Network solutions for Communication Service Providers.
The key expectations from the candidate include:
Good understanding Telco fixed line and wireless network architectures and design
Good understanding of the services offered across various business segments of Telcos viz. Residential, Enterprise and Wholesale.
Service understanding should include Voice, Data, Video across technologies like PSTN, ISDN, xDSL, HFC, 2G/3G/LTE/WiMAX, Ethernet, ATM, SDH, DOCSIS etc.
Working experience of designing service fulfillment (lead to cash) and assurance (trouble to repair) processes for the above services and technologies
Working experience on architecting and designing OSS systems for the above processes.
Clear conceptual view and role played by each application is a must
Good knowledge of network data organization in inventory management systems for physical, logical and service inventories
Good understanding of various integration use cases within the OSS systems and between OSS & BSS, OSS & Network, OSS and other IT/third party systems
Good knowledge of entity relationships amongst the various OSS data entities
Working knowledge of TMFORUM frameworx based standards like eTOM, SID, Integration etc.
Knowledge of ITIL standards and processes
Experience of working for at least 2 large CSPs with heterogenous network technologies is critical
Important to have an understanding of the CSP business, regulations, markets, products etc
While not critical, a good understanding of the BSS systems like CRM & Billing will help.
Awareness of evolving trends/general industry in the markets - SDN, NFV, IOT, Equipment Vendor business, OTT models etc.
