Due to sustained organic growth our client urgently requires a System Management Specialist to be based in the City of London.The successful applicant will be required to join the Monitoring team to focus on the migration of Infrastructure Monitoring from Nimsoft to HP Operations Manager (OM).
About The Role..
Excellent Knowledge of the HP OM /Application and its core functionality
Writing custom code in Perl, C and / or Java
Design, Development and Deployment of new Platform
Third level intraday support

Essential Technical skills
Excellent HP OM Knowledge
Strong Perl Object Oriented Programming
Java Programming / Development
General Windows and Unix admin experience
Database (Oracle) experience
SQL Scripting
Excellent communication skills
Ability to quickly build relationships across multiple teams
Preferable Technical Skills:Previous Systems Management experience (Geneos, Tivoli, Nimsoft, or another)
Ability to share information, transfer knowledge & expertise to team members
Understanding of IT infrastructure from the ground up.
Excellent SQL skills (Oracle 12, MSSQL)
Good visualization skills
Excellent communication skills
High analytical capabilities
Ability to grasp new contexts
Used to working to tight deadlines and identifying problems at an early stage
Flexibility and willingness to work autonomously
Self motivated
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
