Description
You will be responsible for defining the current, interim and target state application architectures required to support external reporting, management disclosure and decision-support processes. Finance Application Architects will work within project delivery teams, eg to provide architectural consultancy/direction, and central architecture teams and set overarching strategic direction.
Technical Capabilities:
Extensive experience of developing key application artefacts, inc. solution designs, application interaction views (current/target)
Experience architecting Data Warehousing and Reporting solutions using Oracle products, inc. Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)
Experience of Oracle eBusiness Suite Ledger solutions
Experience of Database design and implementation
Extensive experience of data standards and/or data quality measurement and improvement.
Experience of Business Analysis
Experience of setting architecture direction
Consultancy skills (either external consultancy experience or having performed significant internal consultancy).
Presentations skills - verbal, written and PowerPoint.
Must be able to produce high-quality presentations, able to convey complex ideas and solutions in a concise, easy-to-assimilate style
Experience and knowledge of Business Process Design
Knowledge of architecture best practice and approach eg TOGAF
Knowledge of programme and project delivery best practice
Knowledge of all architecture domains (Business, Application, Technical)
