Roc Search have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical/Quality/Metrology Inspector to join a renowned Automotive Engineering company based in Devon on a 3 month contract with a scope to start ASAP. CMM, FAIR's, Metrology, Quality, Inspection.
Location: Devon
Duration: 3 months
Rate: Negotiable (Depending on Experience)
Duties will include:
First Article Inspection Reports
Calibration of measuring equipment
MSA studies.
Capability studies
Using customer bespoke computerised quality systems for recording of First Article Inspection and Submission.
Essential:
Fully conversant with the use of Co-ordinate Measuring Machines and standard measuring instruments. Current machines Mitutoyo, Kemco and Axiom.
Good attention to detail.
A high level of literacy and numeracy.
Capable of reading engineering drawings.
Desirable:
Knowledge in measuring automotive parts in Car Line.
CMM programming
Automotive background.
