For a six month project with continuation option at our banking client in Giubiasco TI, the Italian speaking part of Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced

Project Manager Large Projects within Banking (2442)

In this role you are mainly responsible for the following tasks:
• Significant changes to the current Economic Risk Capital (ERC) framework developed in PL/1 batch programs on the HOST.
• Enhancements of the current Annual Credit Provision (ACP) framework, with which we calculated the expected loss for all credits, developed in PL/1 batch programs on the HOST.
• Adjustments of the Exposure At Default (EAD) calculation framework developed in PL/1 batch programs on the HOST.
• Responsible for management, planning, organizing, implementing and delivery of an international IT project
• Adherence of standard methodology from project initiation through to project implementation
• Responsible for scope confirmation, definition of implementation approach, scope, budget and actuals tracking, resource planning, milestone tracking
• management of project risks, issues, and dependencies as well as and stakeholder and business client management

To fulfil these tasks you meet the following qualifications/experiences:
• Several years of project management experience with proven project delivery track record in larger initiatives (budgets > 1M CHF) is a MUST
• IT Project Management experience in the banking or finance industry.
• Excellent project planning, controlling and monitoring skills
• Strong leadership and problem solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to identify project risks and define proper mitigation actions
• Experience with different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
• Project management education and certificate (CAPM, PMI or IPMA) would be an asset
• Knowledge of the Credits Domain would be highly desirable
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills are a MUST
• German and/or Italian language skills would be a plus
