Embedded Software Engineer - Cheshire - £30 - £40 PH(Embedded Software Engineer, C, C++, Embedded Operating systems, WinCE, FreeRtos)
I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer on a 3-6 month contract basis.
My client is a key player in serving science operating in 50 countries, producing analytical instruments, diagnostics and lab equipment for customers in research and applied markets.
There products include; air quality and water analysis, bioprocess production, chromatography and mass spectrometry
You will join a team of engineers who work on the design, implementation and support of Embedded Software solutions for pathology lab equipment. The role will be focused upon Embedded Software Development, low level integration with the hardware up to application/graphical user interface software and production test software.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Redesign existing products
- Develop new products
- Verify Software Designs inception to completion.
- carry out and interpret testing
- technical root cause analysis
Essential Skills:
- C/C++
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Embedded Operating Systems, WinCE, FreeRTOS
- Software development process/methodology, Agile/Scrum preferred.
- of relevant software engineering tools e.g. configuration management tools, build processes, debuggers, emulators and test frameworks.
- In depth experience of working across several development projects.
