Financial Planning Manager - Banking
A financial client of mine are urgently looking for a strong manager who has experience in financial planning.
The Manager, Advice Strategy will be responsible for:
- defining key advice content (eg implication of choosing appropriate tax boxes to meet customer needs, approach to IHT and Pension planning, definition of advice approach for specialist advice areas, Advice Charging Policy etc.)
- definition of strategic change to the Advice Approach driven either by regulatory changes or business need; and assessing the subsequent impact on the advice process and advisor capabilities

Undertake assignments and projects, research opportunities, define and develop strategies relating to specialist/operational policies/products/services and where appropriate, wider business strategies.

Specialist strategies will cover the use/knowledge of:
o Wills,
o Probate and estate administration,
o Tax planning (IHT and CGT),
o Trusts planning
The client are ideally looking for Chartered Financial planners level 6 but would also consider level 4 certification.
