RED is searching for an SAP ABAP Developer with EDI 856 Objects
1 EDI Outbound interface (the 856)
SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible to work in all the phases of application components and will interface with other teams involved. Requires very strong communication and analytical skills to work with business owners, stake holders, developers and DBAs. This person must have the ability to understand the complex environment. Prior banking experience will be a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain programs to enhance the assigned application module using the SAP development tools (ABAP, SAPScript, iDocs, BAPI, RFC). Collaborate with the Project Management, Business and Systems Analysts and Business Partners to develop specifications for system enhancements for continuous functional improvement. Develop Test Plans and automated scripts to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts. Develops, maintains, monitors and manages data loads and functions. Documents test plans and completes unit testing of developed objects. Works closely with Testing/Business resources to support system and integration testing. Responsible for performance tuning of objects & systems utilizing best practices Responsible for root cause analysis and providing solutions for production and development issues.
