For our client we are looking for an IT Manager within the IT SECURITY/IAM (Identity & Access Management) domain. Extensive automation of the IT security processes requires our employees to have in-depth knowledge of IT security skills. The employees with such skills are true professionals who also need to be managed as professionals. As a result, our managers must have an agile management style.
General knowledge:
Educational background
• IT knowledge and capability at academic university-degree level;

• Excellent command of the English language.
Technical knowledge:
Experience
• International work experience;

• Product management;
• Several years of relevant experience as an IT manager;
• A strong affinity with and experience of IT security;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Experience with agile/scrum, and working with DevOps teams;
• Experience of working in complex environments (sensitive to the internal organisation and creating support and acceptance).

• You are responsible for collaborating successfully with the MT's of ING Lines of Business, worldwide;
• You contribute to determining and communicating the IT-security strategy;
• You manage security architects and product managers;
• You work together with the managers from the DevOps teams on high-quality capabilities;
• You are responsible for the IAC team's activities and for the individual quality of your own employees;
• Planning, coaching and evaluation of employees;
• Responsible for developing the necessary expertise;
• You solve cross-team impediments;
• Continuous improvement of IT-security processes;
• In the case of distributed work (outsourcing): negotiations with various parties.
Tasks:
The Manager IT directly manages the security architects, product managers, product owners and blueprint experts. That amounts to a total of 16 professionals, with a wide variety of tasks, who on the large work independently.
Your responsibilities
The IAC team is tasked with working on the strategic policy for IT-security Identity & Access Management with a longer-term focus. The team must translate the requirements of the business and external regulators into concrete measures which can be implemented and employed within the ING organisation, while also successfully managing any conflicting interests. Additionally, the team is responsible for providing concrete input into policy by means of guidelines relating to Identity & Access Management and for aligning policy with the business. Last but not least, IAC checks whether the IAAC capabilities actually work in practice and hence contributes to further optimisation of the capabilities.
