The first gamified-for-good iOS and Android mobile application. Dogly is a social platform for dog lovers to create, customize and share photos with tools designed specifically to bring out the best in all dogs. Grounded in social good, Dogly users can play for their favorite shelter with each photo and donate their “love” to help their shelter receive monthly Dogly Do Good grants.
Job description:
Dogly is looking for a dedicated freelance mobile/web application developer based in NYC with potential to become full-time.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with other members of the development team
- Administer app/website maintenance and updates
- Implement new features and functions to app/website where required
- Analyze business requirements, determine appropriate architecture and other technical solutions and make relevant recommendations
- Ensure delivered features match requirements through testing
- Support user testing efforts and come up with solutions
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Prepare software for implementation to production as well as providing post implementation support
- Communicate with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays in development efforts
- Willing to create fresh solutions for the best user experience
- Assist in troubleshooting of software application issues
Must love dogs is our first requirement. We are also looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that the candidate has excellent interpersonal skills.
