MOTOR CLAIMS HANDLER - CUSTOMER SERVICE - SUPPORT - ADVICE

A corporate player within the Financial Services market is looking to recruit a Motor Claims Handler for a 6 month contract. They offer an honest and supportive working environment with an attractive package, including £15,000 - £18,000 (pro-rata) basic salary, 25 days holiday (pro rata) and a fun working environment. The successful candidate will have the pleasure of working within an exciting, fast-paced office in the heart of York which offers its employees a professional workplace with traditional values.

Based within the Award winning customer services department, you will be part of the motor insurance claims team dealing with First Notification of Losses, you will be responsible for:

  • Handle new motor claims.
  • Processing customer claims quickly and efficiently.
  • Providing first class customer service.
  • Negotiating with claimants and handling litigation.
  • Make an informed decision on claims.
  • Proactively deal with all aspects of the new claims process within 48 hours.

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience within customer service, demonstrable written and verbal communication skills, and the ambition and drive to meet often challenging deadlines. Ideally, you need to meet the qualification policy which is a minimum of 5 GCSE's at grade C or above, including Maths and English and have the certificates as proof.
