Safety Security Solution Architect

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in analysing, planning, designing and delivering comprehensive and complex technical solutions addressing customer needs within the Safety and Security domain In close co-operation with the Regional Customer Units, address the business needs of the Safety & Security sector leading to sales of complete solutions, comprising hardware, software and services from Ericsson as well as from 3PP partners.
  • Select or propose 3rd party suppliers/products for the customer solutions work and manage customized solutions including new 3rd party products.
  • To proactively seek out new business opportunities in ongoing delivery projects and existing customer engagements for continuous upselling and follow-on sales.
  • Together with the Regional/CU representatives to proactively drive the strategic customer dialogue on long, medium and short term topics to build trust and business partnership generating new sales opportunities.
  • Contribute to best practice knowledge sharing and knowledge management in the global community Safety & Security. This entails actively training and educating in the areas of the Safety & Security service portfolio.
  • Contribute to the global building of Safety & Security portfolio assets as required
  • Identify and establish relations with Safety & Security strategic partners
  • Help monitor market needs, trends, standardisation, regulatory, the business landscape, ecosystem players and competitors

Required Skills and Experience

Industry Competence & Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience and proven personal track record of technical sales support and delivery in the ICT professional services business focusing on Safety & Security
  • Established personal network within customers and partners in the National Security and Public Safety sector.
  • Solid understanding of customer strategic plans, eco systems, regulatory environment, major stakeholders and requirements for First Responders, Public Safety Answering Points, National Disaster Coordination Centers, Defense and Border/Coast Guard organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience from an ability to analyse and translate customer needs into concrete technical solutions resulting in revenue offerings.

Education

  • University degree in Business or Engineering/ICT.
  • Higher University degree such as MSc/PhD/MBA an advantage.
